Sylfirm X — firmer, smoother skin without surgery
RF Microneedling
Radiofrequency microneedling sends controlled heat into the deeper layers of your skin through ultra-fine needles, waking up your own collagen so the skin tightens and refines itself.
RF microneedling is the treatment we reach for when skin has started to lose its snap — soft jawlines, enlarged pores, fine lines, acne scarring or uneven texture. Tiny sterile needles create micro-channels in the skin while radiofrequency energy heats the tissue underneath. Your body reads both as a signal to rebuild.
Because the energy is delivered below the surface, the top layer of skin stays intact. That means real remodeling with very little downtime — most patients look a little flushed for a day, like a light sunburn, and go back to normal life the next morning.
At Age Viva we plan RF microneedling as a series, usually three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart, so collagen has time to mature between visits. Results keep improving for about three months after your last session.
How it works
Numbing cream is applied for about 30 minutes so you stay comfortable.
The handpiece passes over each zone, delivering needles plus radiofrequency at a depth chosen for your skin.
We finish with a calming serum and SPF. You leave a little pink, and that fades within 24 hours.

Questions about this treatment
Does RF microneedling hurt?
With topical numbing most patients describe it as a warm prickling, very manageable. The face takes about 20 to 30 minutes of actual treatment time.
How soon will I see results?
Skin looks fresher within a week, but the real tightening builds between weeks four and twelve as new collagen forms.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. RF microneedling does not rely on light or pigment, so it is one of the safest resurfacing options for Fitzpatrick IV to VI skin.
